· The PIR''s are normally fairly well labled in regards to the wiring etc, and as long as you follow the instructions you should be fine the one thing I would say (and I would say this when running any electrics outside) is make sure they are connected to the mains via an RCD plug with suitable fusing, and always make sure any seals on the light/pir are in good nick when you do them up.
